St. Margarethen is the ideal starting point for scenic hikes – you can leave your car at home! It’s also possible to discover the area of Salzburg's Lungau with the bicycle or mountain bike. The entrance to the Lungau’s cycle network - called the "Murradweg" (Tour de Mur) - is directly on your doorstep.

Feeling more adventurous? Activities such as rafting, canyoning, gliding, climbing in a crag are within easy reach of your door. The local tennis court is just a few footsteps away, while a golf course and horse riding are also nearby.
